Madres del Parque
Madres del Parque first became a Bird-Friendly Community Partner in 2024 and is a perfect example of how a partner doesn't have to be a major landowner to support a bird-friendly Houston. Their bird-friendly actions include: partnering with Houston Audubon for outreach and education events in underserved communities, sharing their impact via social media and blogs, volunteering at native planting events, and helping establish and maintain a bird-friendly space in Burnett Bayland Park.
